Guys, I think I found my new favorite show! ok, not really. I do not care for “reality TV”, but oh Lordy, this is a good one!
The Man was flipping channels before a night out, and ended up on nothing in particular. I sat down to see what was on. Oh. My.
Have you ever seen Hardcore Pawn? HI-LAR-I-OUS!! I actually never realized how pawn shops worked. I always thought it was just like a second hand store – go in with something and sell it. It appears that is part of it, but it’s also a loan business based on collateral. Now I’m sure that most of this is dramatized, but these customers are NUTS! I can’t believe people act like that!
I have not heard of this, but it sounds like something I have to tune into. The name alone is very clever! I don’t watch reality tv either. I am not familiar with them either, but now I am curious.
Most certainly isn’t quality television, but perfect background noise for cleaning, doing laundry, and washing dishes! In order to ease my guilty conscious over watching it, from now on I will refer to it as a rough antiques roadshow haha
I’ve never heard of it…..but feel compelled to watch it! Considering I don’t like reality tv this is certainly eye-opening.
I blame the name….it’s definitely the name! Lol.
oh it’s terrible. an absolute guilty pleasure. I wouldn’t quite say it’s worth DVRing, but if you happen to catch it on, it’s great background entertainment
