Betsy’s baby doll

I had a cabbage patch kid when I was little.  My cousins Sarah, Colleen, and I were given these dolls gifts for being the flower girls in our Aunt Debbie’s wedding.  Colleen’s had dark brown hair, Sarah’s had blonde hair, and mine had red hair. They even had dresses that matched our flower girl dresses!  I LOVED that doll, and promptly named her “Betsy baby-doll”, presumably after my cousin Betsy (on my mother’s side).

Well Betsy is getting a baby doll of her own! She is due with her first baby, a girl, in January, and on Sunday, we had a a shower for her!

Showers are always more lively with kids, and this was my first showering having a kid of my own!

Beautiful Miss Bryn and her Gorgerous Mom Amy!

Viv says : “Hey, I think I remember you from Billy’s wedding!”

Betsy showing off her baby skills.  This mom-to-be doesn’t need ANY practice!  (I love how Bryn and Viv are staring at each other!)

Happy Shower Betsy! We can’t wait to see the cute baby you’re cookin’ up!
