When Vivian was born, my Aunt Susan and Uncle Michael sent me a gift that has been well used over the last 4 months. When I first opened it, I would have never guessed it was handmade. It was sturdy (so much so that it can stand up on its own), strong, and could hold a TON of stuff (clearly important with an infant). Whenever we take overnight trips, it can hold an entire pack of diapers, a container of wipes, blankets, jackets, bottles, the moby wrap, anything! and with even that much baby gear, it never feels overstuffed or stretched. From the look of it, you wouldn’t even know it was completely full. It still lies nicely against my body when I’m carrying it AND the baby.
(Viv likes her bag too!)
Pamela Park is the owner of Blondie Bags, and features homemade bags and vintage upcycles. The one Uncle Michael and Aunt Susan gave me is called the CAPE COD. You can find that one, and other styles and patterns on the Blondie Bags Etsy Page!
*Technically I don’t know Pam Park, but my Aunt and Uncle do (She’s my aunt’s younger sister)! This isn’t a sponsored post, nor did I receive any product or compensation for my review. I just got lucky enough to have an awesome aunt and uncle who like to spoil me!
UPDATE! 11/19/12: I sent the link to this post to Pam, who has graciously offered some perks to my readers! The first four commenters get $20 off a hand sewn tote. All readers get $15 discount off her hand knit cotton round totes while supply last! As of now, 3 readers have claimed the $20 offer, so it remains to be seen who the lucky 4th will be!
